On 11 October 2017, our very own Jason Butler was interviewed by Steve Hughes, customer of BGA for 4 years and presenter on OneFM 94.0 where BGA’s “trustworthy, reliable service” was reiterated by Steve Hughes as he described our business’ level of service and integrity as “exceptional”.

The workshop that has been running for 6 years, previously as Affordable Tyres in Montague Gardens, now trading as BGA which stands for “By Grace Alone” specialises in major and minor services, engine overhauls, diagnostic reportings, suspension repairs, batteries and more. As described in the interview, BGA is a bumper-to-bumper umbrella service where parts are provided under a 6-month manuacturer warranty and workmanship is guaranteed for 10 000km.

The company has 4 qualified mechanics and 4 appies along with 4 tyre and balancing specialists and have more than 100 years of experience with individuals who come out of reputable names in the industry. Our ideal vehicles that we specialise in are vehicles 3-4 years old however, we don’t say no to any vehicles, no matter how old or new or how expensive, having worked on vehicles worth up to R7-million.

In the interview, Jason offered vehicle purchasers a very valuable lesson in mistakes that should not be made with the key being, “If you can’t afford the tyres, then the vehicle is probably out of your budget”. This is a nice way of gauging whether you can afford the maintenance on the vehicle and whether it would be a feasible option for you and your family. Another key bit of advice is to keep your vehicle serviced regularly because it’s cheaper to prevent an issue than it is to fix an issue once the part has broken.
